
Nina Solodovnikova

Nina Solodovnikova was born in 1993 in Moscow. She is now considered one of the most interesting new talents in opera. Nina graduated from the Conservatory G. B. Martini in Bologna and completed her studies at the Young Artist Program of the Teatro Comunale of Bologna and at the Chigiana Music Academy. Her training in Donizetti repertoire was completed at the Teatro alla Scala Academy and in Baroque repertoire at the Philharmonic Academy of Bologna. She won many international competitions including the International Singing Competition Tullio Serafin (2021), 34ème Concours International de Chant de Marmande (2022, II prize), and 34° International Competition Francesco Paolo Neglia (2022, I prize) among others.
She sang in various European and Asian theatres such as Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Teatro Municipale Verdi of Salerno, Donizetti Theater of Bergamo, Teatro Olimpico of Vicenza, Opera de Tenerife, Daegu Opera House, Opera Hong Kong.
She worked with conductors such as Daniel Oren, Michele Mariotti, Yves Abel, Francesco Ivan Ciampa, Rinaldo Alessandrini, Jader Bignamini, Jonatan Brandani, Tommaso Turchetta.
In past seasons, she made her debuts in the roles of Violetta Valery (La Traviata), Adina (L'elisir d'amore), Giulietta (I Capuleti e i Montecchi), Musetta (La Bohème), Aspasia (Mitridate, Re di Ponto), Oscar (Un ballo in maschera), Fanny (La cambiale di matrimonio), Dido (Dido and Aeneas), Valencienne (Die lustige Witwe).
In January 2021 the DVD “Pietro il Grande” was released from the Donizetti Festival 2019 produced by Dynamic where she played the role of Annetta Mazepa.
